Hi-Yo Silver, Away! Who was that coach and where did he or she go?
God created us for relationship and as Christian Coaches, you cannot try to go the journey alone. Upon completion of the coach training, it is imperative for coaches to stay connected to other coaches. As in any profession, you want to continue to sharpen your skills, learn from each other, keep up with emerging coaching trends, and be there for encouragement, support and to celebrate successes with other like-minded Christian professionals.
What do you look for in a group or a site when searching for a Christian Coaching Community? I suggest that you find a couple of groups where there is a focus on support, growth, celebrations, camaraderie and most importantly, a mission to glorify God in all that you do. As the body of Christ, we are to be in community and help each other grow our ministries, our businesses and our faith.
God created us for relationships, and this includes our professions. I remind my students frequently Christian coaching is about relationship with God, ourselves and with our clients. You can’t be a Lone Ranger and be a Christian Coach, right Christian Coach Institute graduates?
“As God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.” Colossians 3:12
I look forward to our Alumni meeting next week, CCI Grads!
