Hi-Yo Silver, Away! Who was that coach and where did he or she go?
God created us for relationship and as Christian Coaches, you cannot try to go the journey alone. Upon completion of the coach training, it is imperative for coaches to stay connected to other coaches. As in any profession, you want to continue to sharpen your skills, learn from each other, keep up with emerging coaching trends, and be there for encouragement, support and to celebrate successes with other like-minded Christian professionals.

How does a coach work with clients to help them make a radical change – a true metamorphose? The Merriam-Webster’s definition of metamorphosis is “ a change by supernatural means”.
A change that is truly transformational must start within the heart and work its way outward. It is not always going to be easy and will typically include a struggle at times.
Taking that first courageous step toward something we want is often the most difficult. But if we ever want to achieve what it is we desire, it is necessary. As coaches, we support and encourage our clients toward achieving goals in areas where they feel stuck. Many times the reason for feeling stuck is “fear.” Fear of failure, fear of not being sure the timing is right, fear of rejection, and so many other self-sabotaging beliefs are holding them back. Some even fear success.
It is in these moments, however, that our courage and faith are our most important assets. As the Apostle Paul wrote in 2 Timothy 1:7, “God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. “
